This Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy applies to all purchases made from WEST COAST CONTRACTOR CHEM SUPPLY & SERVICES.
By placing an order, the customer agrees to the terms below.
1. Payment Terms
Payment is due in full at the time of purchase or upon receipt of invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing by WEST COAST CONTRACTOR CHEM SUPPLY & SERVICES.
E-transfer payments can be sent to [email protected].
A 3% processing fee applies to all credit card payments, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Credit card processing fees are non-refundable.
Cash and e-transfer are preferred.
WEST COAST CONTRACTOR CHEM SUPPLY & SERVICES does not offer accounts, delayed payment terms, credit terms, or payment plans unless expressly approved in writing.
2. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase only if the order has not yet shipped, been prepared for pickup, specially ordered, mixed, diluted, packaged, or otherwise processed.
If a cancellation is approved after payment has been processed, any applicable credit card or payment processing fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund.
WEST COAST CONTRACTOR CHEM SUPPLY & SERVICES reserves the right to refuse cancellation requests once an order has been processed, prepared, sourced, packed, shipped, or made available for pickup.
3. Returns
Returns may be considered within 14 days of delivery or pickup for eligible products only.
All returns require prior written authorization from WEST COAST CONTRACTOR CHEM SUPPLY & SERVICES before any product is shipped back, dropped off, or returned. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
To be eligible for return, products must be:
• Unused
• Unopened
• Undamaged
• Uninstalled
• In original packaging
• Complete with all labels, parts, accessories, safety documentation, product documentation, and manufacturer materials
Returns are not guaranteed and remain subject to inspection and approval.
4. Non-Returnable Items
No returns will be accepted on:
• Opened products
• Used products
• Damaged products
• Mixed or diluted products
• Partially used products
• Special-order products
• Custom-sourced products
• Clearance items
• Final sale items
• Chemical products
• Dangerous Goods products
• Controlled-storage products
• Temperature-sensitive products
• Products that have been improperly stored, transported, handled, contaminated, frozen, overheated, or altered
WEST COAST CONTRACTOR CHEM SUPPLY & SERVICES reserves the right to refuse any return if the product cannot be safely resold, has missing documentation, appears tampered with, has been improperly stored, or does not meet return eligibility requirements.
4. Restocking Fee
Approved returns for non-defective items are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
Additional deductions may apply if the returned item is incomplete, damaged, missing packaging, missing documentation, requires additional handling, or cannot be returned to regular inventory.
5. Non-Refundable Costs
The following costs are non-refundable:
• Original shipping charges
• Return shipping charges
• Dangerous Goods shipping charges
• Dangerous Goods handling charges
• Credit card or payment processing fees
• Special-order fees
• Custom-order fees
• Supplier-related fees
• Freight, pallet, courier, or carrier surcharges
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error by WEST COAST CONTRACTOR CHEM SUPPLY & SERVICES.
6. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
Defective, damaged, or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery or pickup.
Customers may be required to provide photos, order details, delivery information, product labels, batch numbers, packaging photos, and supporting documentation before a replacement, credit, or refund is approved.
If the issue is confirmed to be due to an error by WEST COAST CONTRACTOR CHEM SUPPLY & SERVICES, we may arrange a replacement, credit, or refund where applicable.
Products damaged after delivery, pickup, transport, storage, handling, or use by the customer or a third party are not eligible for refund.
7. Customer Ordering Errors
Returns requested because of customer ordering errors, change of mind, duplicate orders, price differences, product incompatibility, faster availability elsewhere, or project cancellation will be treated as standard returns.
These returns are subject to approval, the 25% restocking fee, and all non-refundable charges listed in this policy.
Customers are responsible for confirming product suitability before placing an order.
8. Product Suitability, Compatibility & Application
Customers are responsible for confirming product suitability, compatibility, surface conditions, application method, coverage requirements, and project requirements before purchase.
Product recommendations provided by WEST COAST CONTRACTOR CHEM SUPPLY & SERVICES are general guidance only. They do not replace manufacturer instructions, technical data sheets, safety data sheets, product testing, or site-specific professional judgment.
Customers must review and follow all manufacturer instructions, product labels, technical data sheets, safety data sheets, and applicable laws before using any product.
WEST COAST CONTRACTOR CHEM SUPPLY & SERVICES is not responsible for product failure, surface damage, appearance issues, performance issues, or safety concerns caused by improper product selection, improper preparation, incorrect application, incompatible materials, unsuitable conditions, or failure to follow manufacturer instructions.
9. Storage, Handling & Product Care
Customers are responsible for properly storing, transporting, and handling all products after delivery or pickup.
Products must be stored, transported, and handled according to manufacturer instructions, safety data sheets, product labels, and applicable laws.
WEST COAST CONTRACTOR CHEM SUPPLY & SERVICES is not responsible for product failure, damage, contamination, or safety issues caused by improper storage, freezing, overheating, moisture exposure, sunlight exposure, contamination, dilution, mixing, mishandling, or use outside manufacturer specifications.
10. Finish, Colour, Coverage & Performance
Final results may vary depending on surface condition, porosity, preparation, application method, weather, temperature, humidity, moisture, product compatibility, and site conditions.
WEST COAST CONTRACTOR CHEM SUPPLY & SERVICES does not guarantee specific appearance, colour, gloss, coverage, finish, durability, or performance where products are applied by the customer or a third party.
Coverage rates are estimates only and may vary depending on surface condition, porosity, application method, and site conditions.
11. Dangerous Goods, Freight & Shipping
Some products may be classified as Dangerous Goods, regulated goods, oversized items, heavy items, or special-handling items.
Dangerous Goods, oversized, heavy, regulated, or special-handling items may require additional processing time, carrier approval, special packaging, and additional freight charges.
Shipping costs, Dangerous Goods charges, handling charges, and freight surcharges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
WEST COAST CONTRACTOR CHEM SUPPLY & SERVICES currently ships within Canada only and does not ship to the United States or cross-border destinations.
12. Disposal & Environmental Compliance
Customers are responsible for proper disposal of unused product, containers, rinse water, wastewater, contaminated materials, and related waste in accordance with local municipal, provincial, and federal regulations.
Products, rinse water, wastewater, or chemical residues must not be discharged into storm drains, sanitary drains, waterways, soil, or any prohibited area.
Customers are responsible for ensuring all use, storage, transportation, cleanup, and disposal complies with applicable environmental and safety requirements.
13. Manufacturer Warranties
Manufacturer warranties, if applicable, are provided by the manufacturer and are subject to the manufacturer’s terms, limitations, exclusions, and approval process.
WEST COAST CONTRACTOR CHEM SUPPLY & SERVICES does not provide additional warranties beyond those provided by the manufacturer.
Warranty claims may require product photos, batch numbers, proof of purchase, surface preparation details, application details, weather conditions, and other supporting documentation.
14. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method after the returned product has been received, inspected, and approved.
Refund timing may vary depending on the payment provider.
Credit card processing fees, shipping charges, Dangerous Goods fees, freight charges, and other non-refundable costs will be deducted from any approved refund where applicable.
15. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Customers must contact WEST COAST CONTRACTOR CHEM SUPPLY & SERVICES directly to resolve any order, product, shipping, refund, or billing issue before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.
Submitting a chargeback does not waive the customer’s responsibility for unpaid invoices, restocking fees, shipping charges, processing fees, or other amounts owing.
16. Policy Updates
WEST COAST CONTRACTOR CHEM SUPPLY & SERVICES reserves the right to update, revise, or modify this policy at any time without prior notice.
The policy in effect at the time of purchase will apply to that order.
